APTPUO - Fall 2026 - ESL4012-A

Description

:This course is offered to all University of Ottawa professors who are members of the APUO or APTUO. During this discussion series professors will have the opportunity to practice speaking in their second official language while sharing insights on best teaching practices with their peers. Participants will be asked to discuss various topics related to teaching:
•Past teaching experiences
• Educational and technological tools and resources
• Teaching methods, types of courses and their particularities
• Teaching approaches and methods
• Student learning assessment
• Resources and services offered by the University of Ottawa
*Once the class is completed, if the learner has actively participated in at least 80% of the meetings, they will be eligible for a one-hour individual session with the instructor to review their own classroom material for a course that they teach in their second language.
