Assembler - 1st Shift

PGS Worldwide is seeking an Assembler in Owego, NY for a one year contract-to-hire role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company. This role involves performing production assembly operations on electronic and mechanical assemblies in a manufacturing environment. You will work from diagrams and drawings to build, test, and inspect components while ensuring quality and compliance with specifications.

Required Skills

• Experience performing assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical components


• Ability to read and interpret diagrams and technical drawings


• Experience using hand tools, power tools, jigs, and saws


• Ability to perform continuity checks on work in process and completed assemblies


• Experience conducting quality inspections in accordance with specifications
