**Mechanical Technician (Sander / Buffer – Fabrication Shop)**
**Job Overview**
We are hiring hands-on Mechanical Technicians to support production in a fabrication and manufacturing environment. This role focuses on sanding, polishing, and finishing fabricated parts, with opportunity to grow into quality control and advanced production tasks. Ideal candidates will have experience with tools, construction, or manufacturing and a strong attention to detail.
**Pay:** $19–$20/hr
**Shift:** Day shift (Monday start dates)
**Openings:** 2–3 positions available
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Perform sanding, grinding, and polishing on fabricated metal parts to meet finish specifications
+ Prepare surfaces for coating, including masking, cleaning, and paint prep
