Job Description
JOB PURPOSE: The primary purpose of this role is to carry out workplace assessments for apprentices on Early Years level 2 and level 3 qualifications, within the prescribed routines set by the awarding organisation Overall Responsibilities: To induct apprentices and carry out Initial Assessment in accordance with NCA policy and awarding organisation guidelines. To complete appropriate skills scans and identify any prior learning. To assess learners progress in accordance with NCA policy and awarding body requirements.
To carry out assessments both at NCA (if applicable) and the learners workplace adhering to the awarding organisation code of practice. To prepare Individual Learner Plans (ILPs), carry out regular reviews with learners in accordance with distance learning criteria. To participate in the delivery of training relating to relevant workplace qualifications, apprenticeships, and additional programmes and when required to, enhance learning with one-to-one tutoring.
