Job Description
Overview
Directly reporting to the assigned Clinical Practice Leader, the Assistant Clinical Practice Leader (ACPL) at the Touro College of Dental Medicine's clinic in Albuquerque, New Mexico will have the responsibility of providing support to the Clinical Practice Leader as it pertains to day-to-day operations of the clinic and student advising/support.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
+ Provide primary advisory role to the D3 and D4 students
+ Initiate and guide student doctor/patient interaction and assist in transition to clinical practice
+ Assist in patient assignments or redistribution to student doctors based on needs
+ Provide guidance and direction in care of patients by monitoring treatment planning, progress, and performance
+ Model and advise students on professionalism and practice management techniques
+ Assist the Patient Care Coordinator...
