Major Duties

: (a) To assist Deputy Director in the strategic planning and management for building repair & maintenance, alterations, additions & improvements projects, new capital works projects and property management services; (b) To manage and oversee the operations of different sections; (c) To assist the formulation of policies, strategies and enhancement measures for project management; (d) To plan and manage the new campus development to meet the Council’s Strategic Plan and Master Plan; (e) To formulate strategies for consultancy services and works contracts including packaging, procurement and management controls; (f) To engage and manage external consultants and contractors; (g) To develop smart and green strategies for building design of VTC Campuses and premises; (h) To liaise with relevant Government Bureaux / Departments in obtaining funding approval; and (i) To prepare papers and reports for management review.
