Assistant Executive / Executive (Motor Underwriting)

Job Responsibilities: Underwrite new Motor business in accordance with the underwriting guidelines and objectives Liaising, advising and servicing (Including rapport building) intermediaries/insureds on motor insurance matters Reviewing renewal policies with claims record Monitor and review own portfolio including the Financial Advisors portfolio to ensure profitable growth in line with company targets Assist Team 2 Lead Underwriter for Team 2 matters Provide support to other Team Underwriters as required To attend to direct queries Any other responsibilities as assigned by Team Lead 2 Underwriter and/or Head Motor Underwriter Job Requirements: At least 2 years of underwriting experience in motor insurance Complete MAS-required qualifications to provide advice on insurance matters Possess the necessary people skills for managing their team Good communication skill, tact and patience needed in handling clients for this very competitive class of business Able to multi-task, and is a team...
