Job Description

Overview

The Assistant Golf Course Superintendent reports to the Golf Course Superintendent and works under that position’s direction to manage and oversee all aspects of golf course maintenance and other landscaping facilities on the property. The role supports superior playing conditions for members and guests by assisting with maintenance department policies, delegating work assignments, and applying agronomic knowledge in the use of fertilizers, chemicals, sprayers, and spreaders.


Experience Required

  • Able to communicate politely and professionally with guests, members, customers, and fellow staff members.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
  • Enrolled in a degree in Golf Management or Agronomy, or 5 or more years related experience and/or training, or a combination of education and experience.
  • 5 years progressive experience as an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent.
  • Current and valid driver’s license.
