Assistant Laundry Manager

This supervising position supports the Laundry Master on overseeing the Laundry & Linen Operations.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring that the production requirements by machine are met, in the valet
• Ensuring that the new tagging sequence for guest items is followed properly
• Ensuring that one valet attendant is on call after the daily duties for express services
• Ensuring that the valet machines are properly cleaned, and that routine maintenance takes place during OFF peak working hours
• Ensuring that the tunnel washer is working correctly 100% of the time, achieving 24 transfers per hour
• Ensuring that the correct chemical formulas are being used
• Ensuring that the tunnel washer is being loaded at 100% capacity, using the sequence 8/8 (Linen & Terry)
• Checking the tunnel washer computer and validating that the chemical formulas were properly changed per the sequence
