JOB DESCRIPTION Position of Employment: Assistant Engineering Manager. Direct Reports: Electrical and Mechanical supervisors Position Purpose/ Objective: This role will have the overall responsibility for General management and administration of Engineering Activities as follows; 1. Manage, plan and control resource utilization in the department for efficient achievement of set performance targets at optimum cost. Review and address performance issues with department staff. Perform administrative functions such as reviewing and writing reports, approving expenditures, enforcing rules, attending meetings, and making decisions about the purchase of materials or services. Ensure all engineering activities conform to the various certification standards adopted by the company (e.g. ISO 22000 and Rain Forest Alliance).
