Assistant Manager - Referral Coordinators

Overview The Referral Coordinator Assistant Manager will assist the Referral Manager to oversee and manage the Referral team.

Key responsibilities are listed below, however, this position may be asked to perform other duties and responsibilities as determined by management.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Supervises, trains, develops and oversees the Referral Coordinators team.


• Serves as a liaison between the Referral Coordinators and Center Administrators.
• Promotes patient retention by serving as a liaison between patients, PCP, Insurance companies and specialty providers.
• Resolves referrals-related concerns prior to a patient’s appointment.
• Enters referrals and documents communications, actions, and other data in the medical records system.
• Handles escalated customer service escalated matters.
