Position Summary
The Assistant Meat Manager supports the Meat Manager in leading all aspects of the meat department, ensuring high-quality products, food safety compliance, and outstanding customer service. This role assists in driving sales, managing inventory, controlling shrink, and developing a high-performing team while maintaining department standards.

Key Responsibilities Operational Execution
Assist in overseeing daily meat department operations including cutting, packaging, merchandising, and inventory control
Ensure all products meet quality, freshness, and presentation standards
Maintain proper rotation, labeling, and storage of all meat and seafood products
Support ordering and receiving to maintain in-stock conditions while minimizing shrink
