Assistant Professor of Public Affairs and Adminstration (2 positions)

DUTIES OF THE POSITION

S (2): The successful candidates for these two positions are expected to teach graduate courses and advise students—preferably in both the MPA and MS-HCA degree programs—keep active research portfolios, assist the department with administrative and/or committee work, and assume campus-wide committee responsibilities.

Please note that both programs are currently fully online offering both synchronous and asynchronous modalities. Candidates should address their experience teaching online, and/or any professional development that could aid them in online teaching. The policy and expectation of the California State University is that tenure-track faculty members will perform their duties within the state of California. Please note that teaching assignments at California State University, East Bay may include courses at the Hayward campus, Concord Center, and/or online.
