Assistant Property Controller

Description We are looking for an Assistant Property Controller to support the accounting and financial reporting activities for a sizeable residential real estate portfolio in New York, New York. This role is ideal for a hands-on accounting specialist who can manage the monthly close cycle, maintain strong financial controls, and coordinate effectively with shared service resources. The position also works closely with property management, asset management, and development teams to deliver accurate reporting and help drive key financial initiatives.

Responsibilities:
• Lead the month-end close process for a large portfolio of residential properties, ensuring timely and accurate completion of journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting deliverables.
