Job Description
Responsibilities
- Support the Restaurant Manager in managing daily operations
- Be visible in the operation
- Provide recognition
- Promote good public relations
- Handle complaints, concerns or special requests for guests, clients and group contacts
- Control labor and operating expenses through effective scheduling, budgeting, purchasing decisions and inventory and cash control
- Supervise and train staff to deliver outstanding service
- Observe physical condition of facilities and equipment in the outlet and make recommendations for corrections and improvements as needed
- Oversee inventory management and cost control
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations
- Assist in driving sales and promoting the restaurant
