Job Description
About the Role
- Manage daily operations of arts venues, including theatres, studios, rehearsal rooms, and associated facilities.
- Co‑ordinate and support arts performances, rehearsals, screenings, ceremonies, and related programmes.
- Conduct periodic venue inspections to check the venues’ cleaning condition, building defects, etc.
- Manage venue inventory lists, movements, and deployments. Assess and evaluate inventory’s conditions, and prepare and record loss, damage, or malfunction of equipment.
- Manage all event‑related administration and operations matters such as handing over and taking over of event space, event set‑up/teardown, and event logistics; be on site during events to ensure venue readiness; liaise with hirers, event organisers, and stakeholders on logistics and requirements; maintain accurate records of venue usage, events, and attendance; take photographs of events for reporting and audit purposes.
