Associate/Senior Associate - Insurance & Compensation

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Associate/Senior Associate to join our Insurance & Compensation in our Melbourne office.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Dealing with originating motions, damages and statutory benefits litigation;
• Providing written advice and recommendations regarding serious injury, common law and appeals;
• Gathering evidence by interviewing witnesses and obtaining expert reports;
• Preparing and advocating mediation in Supreme and County Court proceedings;
• Knowledge of Court Rules;
• Management of own files in relation to Court timetable;
• Time recording and billing;
• Supervision and coaching of Junior Lawyers; and
• Other tasks as directed by Principals;
