Asst Engineering Manager (Landfill Management and Operations Dept) - Contract

Landfill Management and Operations Department (LMOD) oversees Tuas Marine Transfer Station and Semakau Landfill, Singapore’s only landfill for waste disposal.

• Assist the engineer in overseeing and ensuring safe waste receiving operations at TMTS & SL slipways.
• Coordinate operational and safety matters with TMTS/SL stakeholders to ensure operations at TMTS/SL such as landfill, O&M of M&E equipment, O&M of tugs & barges (T&B) are conducted according to plan.
• Supervise contractors in carrying out the work/services on site, ensuring that all work is carried out safely and does not disrupt operations.
• Attend to any maintenance or repair works to ensure that they are completed within the set timeline.
• Assist engineer in reviewing the traffic management plans within TMTS/SL.
