What the role is

Design and implement NYP’s data management plan, ensuring alignment with governance standards and institutional objectives. Lead education efforts on Governance Best Practices and Responsible Use of Data and AI.

What you will be working on

• Drive the development, implementation and continuous improvement of NYP’s Data Governance framework, policies and standards.
• Translate enterprise data governance policies into practical processes and guidelines, and review them regularly for improvement.
• Provide overarching guidance and support to staff on data governance and management related matters.
• Implement data asset inventory, data quality metrics, dashboards and remediation plans with real‑time alerting.
• Conduct access rights reviews and maintain role‑based access control (RBAC) frameworks for the data lake.
