Athletic Trainer The job of Athletic Trainer/Teacher provides on‐site athletic event coverage including pre‐ and post‐event requirements. Maintains appropriate quantities of first aid/athletic training supplies. Responsible for the care, prevention and rehabilitation of athletic injuries. Required to collaborate with a licensed physician in the treatment of athletic injuries. Job Qualifications & Licensure Education: Bachelor's degree in athletic training or related field such as Kinesiology or Sports Medicine. Valid athletic trainer registration by the Oregon Health Authority/Health Licensing Office. Emergency Cardiac Care Certification (adult, pediatric, secondary rescuer, AED, airway obstruction and barrier devices). Certified Wrestling Body Composition Assessor from the Oregon School Activities Association (OSAA). Knowledge of first aid practices, injury prevention and therapeutic procedures.
