Job Summary
Responsible for providing comprehensive, evidence-based critical care services to patients in the Medical/Surgical Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Leads the multidisciplinary critical care team in the assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of critically ill patients with complex cardiovascular, pulmonary, thoracic, and vascular conditions. Promotes exceptional patient outcomes, quality, safety, patient experience, and collaboration across the continuum of care.
Essential Job Duties
Provides nights, weekends, and day shift coverage of critical care services for the medical/surgical ICU, including admission, evaluation, diagnosis, treatment planning, and ongoing management of critically ill medical and post operative patients.

Performs and exhibits proficiency with standard critical care procedures.
