Job Description
Essential Job Function
- Evaluates and treats all diagnoses and more complex patients.
- Conducts thorough evaluations of patients’ medical history and functional limitations to develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provides diagnostic audiologic services to pediatric and adult clients, determining a plan of care to identify and treat hearing and auditory processing disorders.
- Determines and documents the type, degree, symmetry, stability and configuration of hearing loss in children and adults.
- Maintains accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with health system standards and regulatory guidelines.
- Monitors and documents patients’ progress, treatment outcomes, and responses to interventions so that treatment plans can be adjusted as needed.
