Lead Auditor needed in Manchester Paying £200 per day ref 000A 08FA /1
Full time hours on a temporary basis
We’re seeking an experienced Lead Auditor to plan and deliver complex, technical, and sensitive fraud investigations. This role focuses on fraud, including housing tenancy and council tax fraud, and requires a proactive investigator with strong decision-making skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess allegations and referrals, plan investigations, and evaluate evidenceConduct interviews, including under caution (PACE)
Prepare detailed case files and written reports
Recommend outcomes ranging from no further action to prosecution or police referral
Contribute to anti-fraud policy, process development, and proactive reviews
