Job Description
- Proficient in MS Office (including Outlook, Word) required.
- Flexibility to work from both an in office setting and remotely from home in a secure location required.
- Must have own high speed internet at home.
- Typing speed: 60 wpm
- Excellent time management, organization and follow up skills.
- Ability to work with a sense of urgency while maintaining attention to accuracy and details.
- Knowledge of Medicare coverage and Medicaid coverage strongly preferred (Medicare and CMS guidelines, eMedNY Provider Manuals).
- Experience setting up or assigning authorizations for revie strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of HCPCS, CPT codes, ICD 10, HIPPA and PHI preferred.
- Coding/billing experience preferred but not required.
