We have an immediate need for an Automation Engineer to be based in Carrollton, GA. This is an onsite position.
ROLE and RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for developing data acquisition, automation and control systems for Industrial Equipment, casting and rolling of copper or aluminum rod.Develop SCADA (supervisory control and data acquisition) Systems and operator interface applications.Design industrial databases (such as SQL Server and Oracle) and write custom computer programs for various systems.Interface with PLCs and drive systems.Apply standard procedures to trouble shoot mechanical and electrical components, diagnose, and resolve issues.Create project manuals and electrical schematics using CAD.Develop cost estimates and proposals for electrical and SCADA systems.Develop an in-depth knowledge of all aspects of corporate systems....
