Job Description
Summary
Through subordinate staff, manages and directs automation engineering activities including the design, development, transfer, validation, and continuous improvement of automated and test equipment. Responsible for leading automation engineering projects, coordinating with customers and suppliers, and ensuring timely technical support for production equipment performance issues. Drives departmental strategy, team development, and continuous improvement initiatives to support operational excellence and Workcell performance.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities- Plans and manages staffing requirements based on Workcell needs.
- Leads, develops, and evaluates automation engineering personnel, including performance management and development plans.
- Oversees automation and test equipment projects from concept through implementation and validation.
- Coordinates with customers and suppliers to define optimal automation solutions.
