Job Description
SMS Manager main roles and responsibilities are as follows:
Responsibilities
- Propose the safety objectives of the SMS within the entity and according to the safety policy
- Ensure compliance with local regulations in terms of aviation safety and answer to the local authorities
- Prepare, organise and conduct the Aviation Safety Reviews of the entity and compile the report
- Perform the analysis of the risk identified
- Follow up the implementation of corrective and preventive measures linked to Aviation Safety
- Liaise with the Corporate Aviation Safety Risk Officer during the Aviation Safety Risk process
- Review for the management of AS Risks that can impact the business; follow up and coach the risk analyses and associated action plan
