Kuya J Restaurant BOH Assistant Job Description:

• Assist in preparing ingredients (e.g., washing, cutting, portioning)
• Support cooks during food preparation and plating
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and work areas
• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen tools
• Ensure proper food storage and labeling
• Dispose of kitchen waste properly and follow waste segregation policies
• Perform daily cleaning tasks and follow kitchen sanitation guidelines
• Comply with food safety standards and internal SOPs
• Report equipment issues or supply shortages to supervisors

• High school graduate or vocational training in food service (preferred)
• Experience in kitchen or food prep work is an advantage
• Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
• Hardworking, reliable, and a team player
• Ability to stand for long hours and handle physical tasks
