Backend Engineer (Python/Postgres) - Remote Migration Lead

Abalia is seeking a Backend Engineer to work on critical platform migration to modern technologies while maintaining a legacy system. This role involves ownership of the existing Java + Oracle codebase and migrating it to a Python + PostgreSQL stack.

The ideal candidate will have extensive Python experience, a strong background in PostgreSQL, and a proven track record in legacy code improvement and system migrations. This is a fully remote position within a rapidly growing company across Europe.
