We are partnering with an established international metals trading and industrial group with a growing presence across Asia-Pacific. As part of its continued expansion within the base metals sector, the company is seeking a Base Metals Trader to strengthen its trading platform in Singapore, focusing on the sourcing, execution, and management of third-party physical and paper trading activities across global base metals markets.
Role Reporting to the Head of Trading, the Base Metals Trader will be responsible for developing and executing physical and paper trading strategies across key base metals markets, including copper, aluminium, zinc, lead, nickel, and related products. The role will focus on originating and managing relationships with producers, smelters, refiners, merchants, consumers, and trading counterparties to identify and execute profitable trading opportunities.
