Job Description
Responsibilities
- Represent Etihad Airways wherever base maintenance activities are performed and serve as the focal point for operational issues with the MRO during aircraft downtime.
- Approve high‑cost material purchases on behalf of Etihad Airways.
- Review the engineering work completed by the MRO to ensure maintenance meets regulatory standards and Etihad requirements.
- Review additional work and authorize estimated man‑hours for all findings arising during maintenance.
- Perform audits on maintenance work carried out by the MRO on Etihad aircraft.
- Act as the primary contact for the MRO and attend all meetings as the Etihad Technical Representative related to maintenance inputs.
- Agree to performance and related charges for unscheduled and additional work, including defects not incorporated in the fixed price.
