Overview

Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) Project Development Manager – base options include London, Madrid, or Milan. Location: Madrid, Community of Madrid, Spain.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of BESS projects across Europe, depending on base location, and oversee grid connection applications and negotiations with DNOs.
• Manage the planning process, liaising with local authorities and stakeholders, and build strong relationships with landowners and project partners.
• Take BESS projects from origination through to Ready-To-Build status.

Key Skills / Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in BESS project development in the European market; solar PV experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of planning, grid, and land acquisition processes, as well as stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
