Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and treat children suspected of experiencing abuse or neglect.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and support to affected children and their families.
- Conduct thorough medical examinations and assessments.
- Provide expert testimony in legal proceedings as needed.
- Participate in educational initiatives and training on child abuse prevention and recognition.
- Board Certified (BC) or Board Eligible (BE) in Child Abuse Pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics.
- Board Certified (BC) in Pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics.
- Graduate of an ACGME-accredited Pediatric residency.
- Graduate of an ACGME-accredited Child Abuse Pediatric Fellowship.
- Unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license at the time of employment.
