DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- The nurse practitioner (NP) works in collaboration with the physician within the scope of practice guidelines agreed upon by the collaborating parties. Assessing patients in nursing home settings and referring for admission when appropriate. Responsible for providing health care to patients and families, focusing on health maintenance, disease prevention, patient education and counseling.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
