Beccarian Correctional Care is recruiting a Behavioural Health Navigator to enhance recovery programs within Therapeutic Living Units (TLUs). The role involves mentoring inmates struggling with substance use and mental health issues, leading both structured and unstructured therapeutic activities. You will engage with members in meaningful ways, creating an environment driven by community support and personal growth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide tailored therapeutic interventions for assigned members
• Facilitate weekly program schedules balancing formal and informal sessions
• Maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries with TLU members
• Assess the TLU environment and provide constructive feedback
• Respond to crisis situations effectively
