Bi-lingual Children’s Community Physiotherapy Assistant

Job overview

We are looking to recruit an assistant to support the work of the Children’s Community Physiotherapy Service in the borough of Tower Hamlets. You will be working with children who have a developmental disability or medical condition that affects their physical function. Your work will involve being able to travel around the borough visiting children at home and at school, implementing therapy advice set up by the therapist. Other duties include the ordering and setting up of equipment; assisting with hydrotherapy, chasing requests; dealing with queries; helping therapists run clinics and other administrative tasks. 

You will be working with a large, well established and friendly team in a busy work setting . You will need to be able to manage patient data and information; prioritise and manage your own workload and communicate effectively with the therapists and multi-disciplinary teams, school staff and patient’s families.
