Job Description
BIM Modeller translates 2D design concepts and engineer sketches into intelligent, data-rich 3D digital models for construction and architecture . They focus on creating precise geometry, managing structural data, performing clash detection, and ensuring building models meet engineering and industry regulatory standards. Core Responsibilities Model Creation:
Build accurate 3D BIM models for specific disciplines (Architectural, Structural, or MEP - Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing). Drafting:
Extract and generate detailed 2D shop drawings, elevations, sections, and structural details from the 3D models. Clash Detection:
Identify spatial conflicts between different building systems (e.g., pipes running through steel beams) and coordinate resolutions with the design team. Collaboration:
Use Common Data Environments (CDE) to share updates and exchange BIM data with clients, consultants, and contractors. Revisions & As-Builts:
