BIM Modeller
translates 2D design concepts and engineer sketches into intelligent, data-rich 3D digital models for construction and architecture
They focus on creating precise geometry, managing structural data, performing clash detection, and ensuring building models meet engineering and industry regulatory standards.
Core Responsibilities- Model Creation: Build accurate 3D BIM models for specific disciplines (Architectural, Structural, or MEP - Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing).
- Drafting: Extract and generate detailed 2D shop drawings, elevations, sections, and structural details from the 3D models.
- Clash Detection: Identify spatial conflicts between different building systems (e.g., pipes running through steel beams) and coordinate resolutions with the design team.
