We are looking for a skilled Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Engineer to ensure the seamless operation of critical biocontainment facilities. This unique dual-role position focuses on maintaining and optimizing engineering systems crucial for research safety and business continuity. Responsibilities
Oversee and manage engineering systems for high-containment labs, including HVAC systems, effluent decontamination systems, autoclaves, laboratory gas, and water systems. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, collaborating with the Biosafety Manager to meet containment and safety requirements. Supervise planned preventive and corrective maintenance for all M&E systems, ensuring their integrity and continuity. Lead annual system validations and engineering stress tests during facilities certification.
