The Department of Biomedical Data Science at Stanford University invites applications for a Bioinformatician 2 (Computational Spatial Biology) to join the laboratory of Dr. Sylvia Plevritis. Dr. Plevritis leads an interdisciplinary cancer research program that develops and applies computational methods to study tumor progression, the tumor microenvironment, and therapeutic response through the integration of spatial omics, imaging, and clinical data. The successful candidate will join a collaborative research environment at the intersection of computational biology, spatial omics, and translational cancer science. This role will focus on the analysis and integration of high-dimensional spatial transcriptomic, spatial proteomic, histologic, and related multimodal datasets generated in the lab and obtained from public repositories.
