Biological Science Technician (Fish)

Summary This position is a Biological Science Technician (Fish), GS-0404-7/8, working in Brimley, MI, for the Pendills Creek National Fish Hatchery. The position supports producing and distributing up to one million lake trout yearlings and four million eggs each year for the Lake Trout Restoration Program. Distribution travel opportunities cover Wisconsin and northern Michigan while the M/V Baird hatchery crew member assists in all of Lake Michigan and northern Lake Huron. Responsibilities As a Biological Science Technician (Fish) your duties will include but are not limited to the following: Work individually or as part of a team in all aspects of the daily care and production of fish eggs, fry, fingerling and adult brood stock at a large cold water fish production facility.
