Summary This position is organizationally aligned to VISN 12. The Biomedical Engineer is responsible for providing professional engineering support to a complex, technically sophisticated, and service-oriented Biomedical Engineering program. Location may vary based on the selected candidate's current reporting location. The length of this temporary promotion is NTE 1 year, with the possibility of becoming permanent without further competition. Responsibilities The position requires broad scientific, technical, and clinical knowledge across the full range of medical technologies, along with highly specialized skills in medical technologies.
