Job Description
Responsibilities:
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, journals, and trial balances
Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports
Oversee accounts payable and receivable, including supplier and customer reconciliations
Process payroll (leave) and ensure compliance with SARS, UIF, and PAYE regulations
Manage VAT, EMP201, and other statutory submissions
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies
Ensure adherence to internal controls
Maintain accurate records for trust accounts (if applicable), in line with LPC or industry-specific regulations
Ensure compliance with POPIA, Companies Act, and other relevant legislation
