Botanist | Ecological Restoration Specialist
This full-time Botanist role supports a variety of environmental projects through vegetation surveys, habitat assessments, wetland and stream delineations, and ecological data analysis. The position combines fieldwork and office-based reporting, with frequent travel and strong opportunities for long-term professional growth.
Key Responsibilities
+ Conduct vegetation surveys, habitat assessments, wetland delineations, and stream assessments, with a strong focus on Great Plains species and grasses.
+ Support vegetation management, habitat planning, and ecological restoration efforts.
+ Review endangered plant and sensitive species records.
+ Collect GPS and other field data to support mapping and spatial analysis.
+ Prepare technical reports, regulatory documents, permit applications, maps, and data tables.
+ Lead or support field teams while ensuring safe, efficient operations.
