Job Description
Description Read blueprints or job orders for specifications such as dimensions and tolerances, tooling instructions. Reading and interpreting blueprints, engineering specifications and shop orders to determine machine setup, production methods and sequence of operations.
Place and position work-piece and secure in holding devices, machine table or fixture. Verify in process and final conformance of work-piece to specifications using measuring equipment such as micrometers and calipers. First-run set ups unassisted and within acceptable time limits. Selection of proper tools, equipment and materials. Complete production and quality paperwork as needed.
