Budget And Financial Technician

Summary Located in the Office of the Chief of Engineering Service, the Budget & Financial Technician's primary duties and responsibilities are directly related to maintaining a comfortable and safe environment throughout the medical center complex and all other leased facilities through an effective maintenance and repair program. The incumbent performs a wide variety of functions including accounting work, budgeting work, voucher examining work, timekeeping and other assigned administrative functions. Responsibilities Major Duties include, but not limited to: Processes a wide variety of purchasing transactions across multiple activities with different rules and procedures. Determines transaction type and purpose, ensuring accurate coding (fund control point, cost center, subaccount) and proper appropriation assignment.
