Building Maintenance Technician II - HVAC

Job Description Level II

Collin County is seeking candidates for the position of Building Maintenance Tech II - HVAC Tech. A Building Maintenance Tech II - HVAC tech is responsible for but, not limited to, maintaining heat, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment (HVAC) systems. Work is performed under the direction of the Facilities Technical Coordinator.

Primary Functions

• Performing skilled work in diagnostic testing, repair, and maintenance.
• Conducting inspections and making necessary repairs to various structures and mechanical equipment.
• Performing HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry repairs and welding.
• Assisting with the renovation and remodeling of buildings and monitoring energy controls.
• Performing other duties as assigned.
