Building Security Systems Technician

Location - This role is in-person. Work primarily takes place at North Campus, South Campus, and Campus Saint-Jean, Edmonton.

This position supports the installation, programming, maintenance, repair, and service/support of the University of Alberta’s electronic Building Systems. Supported systems are as follows: Access Control, Intrusion Detection, Video Surveillance, Electronic Key Press and Intercoms.

Building Systems are real time monitoring and control systems installed in the majority of buildings on North, South, and Remote Campuses. The systems operate 24 hours per day. Any failure or downtime of individual components or systems may become critical with serious consequences to ...
