Bus Monitor 26-27 #1

The Arlington Central School District is currently looking to hire Bus Monitors for the start of the 20265/2027 school year. This position involves responsibility for the routine supervision and care of school-age children as well as the maintenance of order and discipline in a school vehicle.

Typical work may include but is not limited to the following:


+ Maintaining order on and around school buses;

+ Intervenes in confrontations and student fights, if necessary, and attempt to calm students;

+ May escort students to and from special appointments;

+ Monitors students in parking lots and supervises the loading of buses;

+ May assist in rendering of first aid emergencies;

+ Informs superiors of observations of student behavior;

+ Related work as required.
