Business Analyst ICT – 23 Months Fixed Term Vacancy

The New Zealand Police Information and Communication Technology section is seeking to appoint an experienced ICT Business Analyst on fixed term contract to work on Firearms Safety Authority project within the National Intelligence Application (NIA) product team, based at Police ICT building, Walton Leigh Ave, Porirua. This position sits within an ICT product team and plays a critical role in capturing, understanding and analysing business and technical requirements for a core application, as well as providing support.

Key Accountabilities

• Gather and refine business and technical requirements through workshops and stakeholder discussions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders in business, technology teams, and third parties as needed.
